Assorted Fish Sauce – Sisi Jemimah’s Way

Assorted Fish Sauce is simply a fried pepper based sauce I love to pair with Boiled or fried yam. This sauce is incredibly tasty yet easy to whip up.

For this recipe, you can use just about any type of fish though firm fishes are better suited. You can also use either Palm oil or Vegetable oil, both options are just as good. Please, do not add Curry or Thyme if you’ll be using Palm oil. These two Seasoning don’t go well with Palm oil in the slightest.

Lets cook!

  1. You just ignored what @dolapo asked you about fresh fish in the list of ingredients but wasnt mentioned during the cooking process. At what point do we add it and does it need to be par boiled before using it?

    • Ignored? Did you even bother to check what time her question was posted? Anyway, not important. It should be added same time as the Stockfish and Smoked fish.

  2. Nice job you do on here. For this recipe you mentioned fresh fish in the list of ingredients but wasnt mentioned during the cooking process. At what point do we add it and does it need to be par boiled before using it?

    • Hi Dolapo, thank you. I’ve just realised I missed that part out. It should be added same time as the Stockfish and Smoked fish.

  3. I just tried the teriyaki source and it was perfect. Great job. I have tried nearly all of the African recipes and I’m sharing them with my children. These recipes are on point.
